DIRECTOR’S NOTE

In recent years, the USA saw an abundance of exasperated workers who were done dealing with abusive workplaces and decided that the system needs to be changed. This is best known as “The Great Resignation” Movement. All the memes of people quitting after receiving harsh texts from their supervisors; The toxic, manipulative bosses removed from the shadows, thanks to the MeToo Movement; The recent chain of strikes in factories around the country; These are all results from lingering problems in our nation that must be addressed.

No More Waiting is a collection of vignettes, created by our ensemble, to help visualize all of the struggles placed onto the working class. I hope everyone in attendance will connect to one or more of the vignettes and ignite a spark within them to fight against any forms of oppression.

Bob Dylan once said “The Times are a-changin’,” but the only way that’s possible is if we create the change we want to see in the world.
