The Generation Ship is a look into humanity’s potential future, through snapshots in the lives of those living on a ship which has left a destroyed planet Earth, to seek out new possibilities for humankind. The journey is so long that those who started it won’t see its end on a new planet - but their great, great grandchildren (hopefully) will. Through a series of monologues and scenes, ranging in feel from darkly comic to poignant to surreal, we explore what it might be like to be flying on board humanity’s last hope.
