Volunteer!
We are always excited to meet new people interested in creating new theatre! Volunteers are frequently needed at the box office for performances, during work days, and at our outdoor and special events. Volunteers receive free admission to the show(s) they work on. Here are some of the tasks we need help with:
Box Office - selling concessions, ushering, pre- and post-performance cleaning, assisting patrons. If you’re interested in making everyone feel welcome, safe, and comfortable, the Box Office needs you!
Work Days - building, painting, organizing, demolition, heavy lifting. If you love getting your hands dirty, we’d love to have your help in construction, teardown, and flipping the theatre for the next event.
Special Events - A variety of different events with different needs; from helping to run auditions, to acting as support staff for fundraisers and other social events.

WHILE OUR COUNTY-WIDE MASK MANDATE HAS EXPIRED, THE MAGNETIC THEATRE CONTINUES TO REQUIRE MASKS FOR ALL AUDIENCE MEMBERS, STAFF, AND VOLUNTEERS.
Our space is small and enclosed, which allows us to provide an intimate theatre experience for actors and audiences, but also means we have reduced distancing capabilities and less access to direct fresh air flow within the theatre. We must keep the artists on our stage healthy in order to continue creating and presenting theatre in our space. The best way to do this is to have an audience and staff that is fully masked.
The mask will need to cover your nose and mouth at all times when not actively eating or drinking, and should be an N95, KN95, a tight fitting surgical mask, or a multilayered cloth mask
Note: bandanas, scarves, neck gaiters, and the like, will not be permitted
Complimentary masks will be provided at the theatre for anyone who needs one
